Welcome to Nazareth Masters! Our team was founded in spring 2005 and has been going strong ever since. Our group is diverse in its members. Teachers, business men & women, recent college alums, and retirees have all benefited from our program. The group currently consists of 4 different ability levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced Intermediate, and Advanced). Our members include triathletes, masters’ swimmers that compete in area meets, and people just looking to stay in shape and workout with a group. If you have questions about our program, please feel free to email Martie Staser mstaser3@naz.edu or call at 585-389-2198. Current Coachs: Aubrey Kirchoff -- Aubrey has been coaching with the Nazareth Masters Team since fall of 2006. Recently, Aubrey served as head coach for the 2010 Spencerport Girls Modified Swim Team. Aubrey ended her junior year as Empire 8 swimmer of the year, and attended Nationals with teammate Emily Lesher. During her senior year, Aubrey was awarded Empire 8 Swimmer of the week 5 times, again participated at Nationals, and achieved All American Status. She was honored at the end of her career as female recipient of the Barbara Radef Senior Academic and Athletic Career Excellence Award. Emily Lesher -- A '08 Nazareth Grad who is currently finishing her masters degree in Speech Pathology. Emily has been a competitive swimmer her whole life and was the DIII National Champion in the 400 IM in 2007. Emily's specialty was strokes, mainly Backstroke and IM, but she was an all around swimmer and still holds many Nazareth College school records. Emily has been with the Masters team since January 2010. |
